Orthopaedic & Arthroplasty Surgeon

Orthopaedic relates to the branch of surgery concerned with disorders of the spine, joints and the repair of deformities of these parts. Arthroplasty refers to the surgical reconstruction or replacement of a joint. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine disease, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors and congenital disorders. When a condition is serious a patient may need surgical treatment when their musculoskeletal system does not respond to any of the non-invasive treatments.
