On 6 December 2025, we celebrated another year of growth, care, and community at BMC Miri! We were honoured by the presence of Yang Berhormat Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, Minister for Transport Sarawak, who officiated the event, making this celebration even more special.
The day was filled with excitement and inspiration, from inspiring speeches and our official launching ceremony, to the proud highlight of the day — the Launch of our Junior Medic Squad , a programme designed to nurture curiosity, courage, and compassion in our young heroes of tomorrow. Certificates of Achievement were awarded to all our young participants — well done, little medics!
Families and visitors enjoyed a vibrant day with interactive booths, fun activities, and lucky draws, spreading smiles and surprises throughout the celebration.
We were also delighted to host our Prenatal Education Class, where expectant parents received guidance from our dedicated healthcare team, including Dr. Selvam Shanmugam (Resident Paediatrician) and Dr. Lau Ngee Yin (Resident Obstetrician & Gynaecologist).
