Borneo Medical Centre (Miri) is proud to have successfully hosted the Miri Medical Tourism FAM Trip 2025, in collaboration with Mercure Hotel and Wah Tung Travel, with the strong support of the Sarawak Tourism Board. This landmark event marks a significant step in promoting northern Sarawak as a hub for quality, safe healthcare and leisure tourism.
As part of this initiative, the three-day program brought together leading medical tourism agents from Indonesia and Brunei, offering them first-hand insights into BMC Miri’s state-of-the-art facilities, specialist services, and patient care standards.
This FAM Trip represents an important step in strengthening cross-border healthcare collaboration while positioning Miri as a preferred destination for medical tourism — where quality healthcare meets the warmth of Sarawakian hospitality and the beauty of our city.
